Split Silage Pit Sampler

The Grasstec Split Silage Pit Sampler is a durable stainless steel sampling tool designed to take representative silage samples directly from the pit for feed analysis.

Measuring 1.9 metres when fully assembled, the sampler reaches deep into the silage pit to collect a 150mm sample with each use. Its practical two-piece design allows the sampler to be split in half for easier transport and storage, making it particularly useful for agricultural consultants, advisors and farmers sampling across multiple farms.

How to Use:

1. Pierce a suitable hole in the silage pit before inserting the sampler.
2. Insert the assembled sampler into the prepared hole and push it as far as required.

4. Carefully remove the sampler from the pit.
5. Remove the collected silage sample using a suitable tool, such as a screwdriver, and place it into a clean container.
6. Repeat as required to obtain a representative sample for laboratory analysis.
