Stock Description: Here we have a nice group of spring 24 calved cows put back with Friesian stock bulls to calve from 25th Oct to 15 Nov. These cows are still in milk and yielding 15+ litres @ 9%+ milk solids. All the cows are of good conformation and are all milking on 4 quarters with well attached udders and good feet and legs. There is no cows in the group with faults these have all been culled. These cows will be bought at value given cull cow and calf prices currently.
Production Capacity: The herd is run on a spring grass based system with grass silage and cubbicles over the winter months. Herd yields are 5460 litres 4.81% fat 3.64% pro with minimal bought in feed. These cows would produce more on a different system.
Age & Lactation: The cows are of mixed ages but majority will be in lactations 1-4 as the older cows have been culled.
Health Status: The herd is Johnes tested and no known red cows are in the group. They are up to date with IBR, Lepto and BVD vaccinations.
Unique Selling Point: Nice group of homebred cows to calve in the autumn for winter milk production.
