Stock Description: This group of cows is part of a multi breed complete herd dispersal. The herd has been split up into the different breeds and cow type for the sale. This group are typical NZ bred x breds originating from a long established spring calving herd in Scotland. The mature weight of this group would be 520 kg. This group are the Nz bred autumn group these are all still in milk apart from 2 cows that are due to calve this month. The cows are in calf to easy calving Limousin stock bull and are due to calve as follows. July = 2, Oct = 1, Nov = 6, Dec = 3 and Jan = 4. These are nice young cows that are still maturing and will go on and do well.
Production Capacity: The cows average 5800 litres 4.4% fat 3,3% pro. This is on a very basic system, grass and grass silage plus concentrate in the parlour.
Age & Lactation: This group is mainly 2nd calvers with a few older cows, all cows are functionally correct.
Health Status: The herd is located in a TB4 region, not vaccinated but regular testing for disease via bulk milk samples.
Unique Selling Point: Tb4 stock, young cows in milk.
